Thank You

We have had a whirlwind of a year.
Can you even believe that it was exactly this week last year that I started blogging about food allergies and intolerance's.
Shortly there after I was thrown into this very confusing world of eosinophilic disease.
Nothing has been easy, but also, I have to tell you guys, it hasn't been horrible.
We have been quite fortunate when it comes to how Roe has responded to his meds, and accepted the medical food.
Well..... i guess this week will be the real indicator.
Roe's second scope is planned and we will have a clearer picture of where we are.

I am so thankful for all the friends I have made in this journey.
I have had the opportunity to connect with families all over the globe.  Not to mention the friends and family right here in Jacksonville who have been supportive.

In my head I can hear the words:
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

I have to continuously give it away, the worry, the fear, the anger.
I have to look at this in perspective, true Roe will be on an extremely limited diet for the rest of his life, he may be on the medical food his entire childhood, he will probably be on all of these medicines forever.
But he is FINE.

He is silly, and happy, and so smart, he is kind and well adjusted and brave and I am so blessed to have him.

On my one year blogging anniversary I want to thank you guys for your encouragement,
thank you for the comments and thank you for your fellowship.
I am so blessed to have found this outlet and you my friends my community.
Please leave more comments. I want to know you all, I think we need each other.
:)

On another note:  I was blessed this week with a package of freebies!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Yeah!
Enjoy Life Chocolate chunks
Now this is what chocolate is supposed to taste like.
I am perfecting a breakfast bar recipe that i will be posting this week, I promise.
Stick around, you are not going to want to miss this one!
