Another Scope

The time has come. We have held the doctors at bay long enough and they have decided that its time for another scope.

The good news is that if he has 0 eosinophils we can try taking him off the splash and feeding him only the foods we have been feeding him.

 This will be risky because:

1. He may not be able to continue to gain weight on only the foods that he is able to eat. There is a pretty big chance that this will be the case.  I had kinda prepared myself that these juices would be a way of life for us.  TA is ready to try and get Roe off of them.  So away we go.

2. If we take him off the juice we will have to scope again in probably 3-4 months and see if any damage has happened since we have stopped giving him the juices..... It is a cycle. Trial and check.

If he still has eosinophils in his esophagus we will of course continue with the juice and try and figure out what we may need to eliminate further from his diet. Again.... Trial and check.

The good news is that he is on the chart, we are starting from a great place. It just scares me to think about what's ahead.

I hate this. I feel like some of these moms are so accustomed to this. I have begged and pleaded to keep this next scope away, and here it is. It's inevitable. I hate it.

Our appointment will be either next Wednesday the 2nd or Wednesday the 16th,  i will know later today the date. Thank you for your continued prayers for this.
